EURO-FLY ROD SPECIFICATIONS
The only French fly-rods bearing a life-time guarantee!:
ROD BUILDING:
· Hi-modulus graphite blank coated with epoxy
· Up-locking wood (bubinga) reel seats
· Cork grip in "Flor Extra" (the best available quality)
· Folding Fuji hook keeper and silver-nickel winding check (in plastic for the saltwater rods)
· Super-hard Silicone Carbide (S.I.C.) one piece stamped frame guides
· Super hard chrome single foot guides
· TICH fly-tops (large loop for lines >8)
· Black wrapping with two thin gold borders (blue wrapping and silver borders for the saltwater fly-rods)
Our saltwater fly-rods have a graphite reel-seat. The cork grips are made water-proof thanks to a special sealer. Models for lines 10 and 12 feature an additional fighting butt, below the main grip.
All the EURO-FLY rods come with a partitioned rod-bag, with a guarantee certificate. They are delivered in a deluxe brushed aluminium rod-case, except for the saltwater rods, which are delivered in a rigid plastic rod-case with a lock.
ACTION:
The excellent quality of our blanks allows us to give a progressive action to our fly-rods. Few blanks have the required qualities to obtain such a superb action, which is characterized by a rather rapid action at the start (up to 9/10 m of line), followed by a progressive delivery of the line, allowing casts of over 25 m.
Extraordinary compromise between low and fast action, the progressive action is the only one which suits beginners as well as experienced fly-fishermen. No doubt that the progressive action will soon be "the" reference! Last but not least: though they are lightweight, all our rods feature one or two additional rings!
This allows to obtain a perfect curve of the loaded rod, without any angle between two rings. This increases line speed during the casts and allows to reduce diameters of leaders of 2 to 4/100e!
GUARANTEES:
Apparently, we are the only French rod-builders who trust their rods enough to give them a life-time guarantee! This includes all manufacturers defects and any clean breakage on a fish. This guarantee is voided in case of change in ownership and doesn't apply in case of product damage incurred other than that of normal use by customer, of crash, use beyond specifications or intensive use (professional or collective).
